Overview
Embedding an external calendar (e.g. Google, Microsoft Outlook) allows you to display up-to-date events, departmental schedules, and key dates directly on your webpage.
Microsoft Outlook Calendar
To ensure web accessibility and mobile responsiveness, we do not recommend embedding the calendar directly onto your web page. We recommend using the following content types to create a calendar button that links directly to your public calendar. Here are a few content types that have the button feature:
- Follow the instructions on the on how to "Publish your calendar".
- Once you have published your Outlook Calendar, copy the HTML link of your published calendar.

- Paste your HTML link into the button's URL field.

Google Calendar
Unlike Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar can be seamlessly embedded onto the webpage.
- Follow the instructions on the on how to "Embed a calendar on your website".
- In your WYSIWYG, click on the "Insert/edit media" button.

- Click on the Embed tab, and paste your Google Calendar embed code.
