According to Microsoft:
Safari and Chrome: Microsoft 365 is designed to work with the current version of the Safari and Chrome browsers.
Microsoft Edge: Microsoft 365 is designed to work with the latest version of the Microsoft Edge browser. Microsoft 365 might continue to work with older versions of the Microsoft Edge Legacy browser, but Microsoft can’t provide any guarantees.
Firefox: Most Microsoft 365 apps are designed to work with the current version of Firefox. However, Firefox does not fully support Microsoft Teams meetings.
Microsoft Teams meetings are fully supported on the latest versions of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. For more details on browser support for Teams meetings, see Limits and specifications for Microsoft Teams: Browsers.

To ensure you are not missing anything after the migration, you can take a screenshot of your calendar surrounding the migration date and double check that nothing is lost post migration. Regardless, yes, all of your past and future events/meetings should be migrated.
Storage
For the first phase of migration, Google Shared Drive is not being migrated, you will still access your Shared Drive through Google.
First Phase of migration is:
- Gmail to Outlook Mail
- Google calendar to outlook calendar
- Google My Drive to M365 OneDrive
